According to statistics, every year in the world about 1 250 000 cases of breast cancer are revealed. The figures are quite terrifying, are not they? Two years ago, 32-year-old Beth Vaange from Australia was diagnosed with breast cancer, she thought her life was over. Doctors reported the terrible news directly on her birthday. For Beth, a mother of four wonderful children, it was not easy to accept the news. Moreover, the doctors noted that they found a dangerous gene BRCA2, which leads to malignant tumors in the breast and uterus.

The woman had to go through a number of operations to defeat breast cancer. Also the terrible disease had led to a sharp decrease in body weight, which caused terrible stretches. However, Beth decided to tell to the world about her triumph over breast cancer.

Along with a photographer Nadia Masot she came up with an ingenious photo project called “Under the red dress?”. “Every day we pass by people who look quite normal, but sometimes the body under clothing hides horror stories” – Beth shared in an interview. “We want to warn you that cancer may overtake everyone.”

The women made a couple of exposing photos with a very noble goal. Then Beth has decided to spread information about this issue, posting naughty photos on Facebook. The woman warned all the friends in the news feed saying: “The following photos are controversial and contain topless materials.”

And what do you think? After the pictures were posted on the social network, 103 friends unsubscribed from her within 8 hours! But she just wanted to draw the attention of friends, especially women, to the need for regular testing.

“Well, ignorance – it is their choice,” – commented Beth such actions of her friends. Among other things, the provocative photos gave rise for many women who have experienced breast cancer to share their photos. The purpose of such a massive Internet movement remains the same: to remind women of the importance of timely diagnosis.

Now, as you know, everyone is trying to become famous. However, Beth and her friend- photographer had good intentions. Judging by the reaction of her friends (who, by and large, had to support her and to thank), people are not willing to accept such a naked truth.
